Bbq Beef Sandwich Recipe Slow Cooker
This Easy Crock Pot BBQ Beef Recipe is perfect for a pot luck dinner or summer barbecue. It tastes so good and is quick and easy to make which is why this is also a perfect weeknight meal during a busy week.

This Slow Cooker BBQ Beef Sandwich Recipe is a simple and delicious meal.
I have a very serious love of slow cooking. The crock pot allows me to prepare delicious meals for my family without being in the kitchen all evening.
This recipe for beef sandwiches allows me to throw all the ingredients in my slow cooker in the morning and have an amazing meal for my family by that evening.
There are so many great options when serving this meal and I know you'll love it as much as I do!

You'll need a great crock pot for this S low Cooker BBQ Beef Recipe.
I currently have 3 different types of slow cookers and the Ninja crock pot is hands down my absolute favorite. Therefore, if you are in the market for something new, I cannot recommend it enough.
The best benefit of this slower cooker over the others is that it has a stove top feature that in results allows you to brown the meat and slow cook it in the same crock pot.
My sister has this other Ninja slow cooker. It doesn't have as many features on it as the one that I have but it does have the cooktop feature which we both love and it's slightly less expensive than the one I have. She recommends her as well.

Also, the remove-able insert on both of these crock pots makes clean-up a breeze! Trust me, you won't regret getting this crock pot.
I also really like this crockpot and own it as well. Being able to lock the lid down is the best feature on this option. It's perfect for when I have to bring food somewhere so I don't have to worry about anything spilling in the car.

Another favorite is this programmable crock pot for when I am am not at home all day. I love coming home to a nice meal ready and waiting! The programmable feature makes sure that my meal is not over cooked while I'm gone all day.
What do I need to make S low Cooker BBQ Beef ?
- 2 lbs Roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 2 cup BBQ Sauce
- Hawaiian Rolls
Everything blends together to make such a delicious meal. The Worcestershire sauce makes the roast incredibly tender when it's cooking all day. These ingredients are simple and easy to find but combined together they make a great shredded beef recipe.

If you prefer a more smoky flavor to your beef, I recommend adding 1 tsp of liquid smoke to the sauce ingredients to add a deeper smoky flavor.
What type of beef roast is needed to make easy bbq beef sandwiches?
For this BBQ Shredded Beef Recipe, I usually use a chuck roast or a rump roast as these shred the best after being slow cooked in the crock pot all day long.
Also, you can use pork or chicken for this recipe if you prefer these over beef. I would adjust down the cooking time if chicken or pork are used instead of roast because a roast takes longer to cook in the slow cooker.

The sauce is simply amazing; therefore, I know it will taste great on whichever type of meat you decide to use.
How do you makecrockpot BBQ beef sandwiches?
My favorite part about this recipe is that is so simple but tastes like it took lots of work. If you have been following me for awhile now, you know that I love quick and easy and this recipe is no different.
To make this recipe, first you put the roast of your choice in the bottom of the slow cooker. Secondly, you season with the roast with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and minced garlic.
Next top with half of the barbecue sauce and the beef broth on top.
Lastly, cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours until the beef shreds easily.
Once it's done slow cooking, shred the beef roast. Add it back to the crock pot and mix it with the other cup of BBQ sauce.
Finally serve on your favorite type of roll or bun. We prefer the Hawaiian rolls in my family!

How do you know when the roast is done for these E asy BBQ Beef Sandwiches?
You will want to cook this slow cooker bbq beef on low in the slow cooker for 8-10 hours based on the size of the roast. If you have a larger roast, you'll want to cook it for a longer time.
Most people think that if the roast is tough it's over cooked but the opposite is actually true. A tough roast is generally just not done yet.
After your cooking time, if your roast is not easy to shred, put it back in the crock pot for a few more hours and I'm sure that it will shred in no time at all.

For most of my slow cooker recipes, I say, as a general rule, that you can cook the meal on high for half of the cook time.
However, I do not recommend cooking a roast on high in the slow cooker. Cooking it on low and for a long length of time makes the roast tender and easy to shred which is prefect for this easy pulled beef recipe.

What do you serve withslow cooker bbq beefrecipes?
This shredded beef recipe is so easy and is so versatile. You can serve it with anything you have on hand.
For a busy weeknight, I serve this with chips, salad and a pickle on the side. This makes the perfect meal to eat on your backyard patio on those beautiful summer nights.
If we have more time in the evening, I enjoy serving this slow cooker bbq beef sandwich recipe with our favorite pasta salad and vegetable of choice.

I highly recommend this Easy Pasta Salad Recipe and if you prefer a creamy pasta salad, you must try this Easy Macaroni Salad Recipe.
Also, I love quick and easy vegetables that I can prepare in no time at all and serve with anything. I really like to cook broccoli in the microwave. You won't believe how easy this process is.
You'll never cook broccoli another way after you try preparing it in the microwave.
In addition, I love roasted vegetables. I think it brings out a great flavor in most vegetables. My family loves oven roasted parmesan asparagus and delicious roasted fresh green beans.

Can you freeze this bbq potroast crockpot recipe?
Freezer cooking is one of my favorite things to do in the kitchen! Since I have a large family, I'm always looking for ways to save time in the kitchen and freezer cooking is a great way to help me spend less time cooking.
For this recipe, I would double the recipe and freeze the leftovers for a future meal. The frozen leftovers can easily be heated up on the stovetop with some beef broth so my family can have a quick meal in a few weeks.
Also, I recommend using a silicone cupcake pan to freeze individual servings of this bbq beef because it helps divide the leftovers into individual serving sizes.
By freezing it in individual servings, one or two can be defrosted to make a single serving meal. For instance, you can throw these in your lunchbox for a great beef sandwich to enjoy at lunch time.
